Career Pathways Specialist
(Grant-Funded Position)
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Nashville is now accepting applications for the position of Career Pathways Specialist. TCAT Nashville is a post-secondary technical college accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service, recruitment, marketing, or a related field (higher education experience preferred).

Strong customer service, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to both groups and individuals.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with students, schools, faculty, business/industry partners, and the community.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audio/visual technology; familiarity with student records or sensitive data management preferred.

Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.

A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.
General Responsibilities

Oversee dual enrollment programs in Cheatham, Robertson, and Sumner County Schools.

Provide career counseling to guide students in selecting appropriate training pathways.

Assist students with the dual enrollment admissions process, including applications, grant forms, and required documentation.

Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for dually enrolled students, including attendance, grades, and progress.

Collaborate with county school systems to develop additional articulation pathways with TCAT Nashville.

Represent TCAT at recruitment events such as college and career fairs.

Promote awareness of TN Promise to high school seniors.

Perform other duties related to career and technical education as assigned by supervisors or administration, on and off campus.

Salary
Commensurate with education and experience.
