Position Overview
The Collections & Credit Card Specialist provides vital administrative support to the Vice President, Director of Asset Protection and Recovery. This role is key to managing delinquent loan accounts and the Visa Credit Card program at The Credit Union for Robertson County (TCURC). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and professional, with strong experience in collections, credit counseling, and card/account services.
Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the VP, Director of Asset Protection and Recovery

Manage late and/or delinquent loan accounts and send payment reminders

Make follow-up phone calls regarding delinquent loans and Visa Credit Cards

Maintain accurate records on applicable member accounts

Administer and maintain the Visa Credit Card program, including:

Processing new cards

Maintaining existing cards

Processing payments and performing account updates

Balance effective collections with a member-first approach to service

Serve as back-up Courtesy Pay Specialist as needed
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or credit counseling

At least 3 years of experience in accounting, ATM operations, card services, and/or credit union operations

Strong organizational and communication skills

Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented

Ability to pass a background check, including meeting credit standards
