Shoals sells their solar products principally to engineering, procurement, and construction firms that build solar energy projects. The custom nature of their system solutions and the engineered-to-order development cycle for solar projects typically gives Shoals a 12+ month lead time to quote, engineer, produce, and ship each order, so there is no need to stock large amounts of finished goods.
Summary:
Shoals Technologies, a global renewable energy organization, is hiring a Compensation & Analytics Manager. The Compensation & Analytics Manager will be responsible for compiling, structuring, and analyzing HR data to make conclusions that help streamline the process while performing Compensation Analysis and Benefit Administration tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Analytics, Data & Reporting
- Collecting data on payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, employment records, and exit interviews.
- Implementing relevant HR metrics to determine the efficiency and impact of the workforce.
- Analyzing data and statistics for trends regarding recruitment practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws.
- Lead creation of presentation decks for all Total Rewards & HRIS Projects and annual plans
- Manages monthly Biz Ops presentations.
- Reports on monthly and weekly reporting on status updates on current Total Rewards & HRIS teams projects and work processes.
- Manages the HR Intranet page and securities along
- Business Process Owner for company policies and procedure documents
- Optimizing and implementing new data processes and systems.
- Compiling reports of data results and presenting these to senior managers.
- Compile HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs.
- Design and manage employee surveys and exit interviews.
- Develop assessments for potential and current employees and update employment records.
- Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns.
- Present results of employee performance evaluations
- Gather and disburse government labor statistics, new employment regulations, and labor laws.
Compensation:
- Assists with annual compensation program processes (salary review, annual bonus, etc)
- Performs job evaluations to determine appropriate job compensation & pay recommendations.
- Assesses jobs to ensure appropriate FLSA classification.
- Completes compensation survey submissions.
- Performs ongoing compensation related analysis related to salary structures, incentive plans and pay equity.
- Assists with creating & maintaining compensation policy documents, job descriptions & incentive plans.
- Maintains & ensures accuracy of records related to equity compensation.
- Analyzes compensation data to recommend changes/updates to compensation structures & programs.
Benefits:

- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
- Assist with administering in wellness, service recognition and other benefit related programs.
- Administers and assists as a back-up to leave programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a data analytics or closely related role
- Proficiency in data visualization tools statistical software
- Experience with/understanding of HR metrics, KPIs, and their significance in organizational decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
