Salary: $30,000 (net $25,865) P/T exempt

Position Summary: Support implementation of the Raise Your Hand Tutoring Program. Responsible for assisting teachers with intervention training, resources, and classroom support. They
assess Raise Your Hand models within selected schools plus recruit, train, and manage volunteer tutors and monitor snack inventory. This position works closely with local school district,
Community Organizations, teaching staff for out-of-school time tutoring.

Essential Functions: The following are indicative of the essential functions required to perform this job successfully. This position works Monday -Thursday with a maximum of 20 hours per weeks. Some evening work and travel to program sites are required.

Performance responsibilities include:
• Work with Principals to coordinate Raise Your Hand tutoring out-of-school time operations, activities, and services.
• Order student snacks and monitor inventory. Order student / teacher supplies kits.
• Serve as liaison with instructional and administrative staff and volunteers.
• Recruit volunteer tutors and ensure volunteers complete a background check.
• Create impact reports for community stakeholders and track volunteer service hours.
• Attend school district meetings, stay abreast of best practices, and advocate for public policy across the elementary and middle grades continuum.
• Collect program invoices and create teacher/tutor weekly schedules.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and training requirements.
• Two-year degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in education programs and systems. Leadership skills and experience, including managing volunteers, or community-based initiatives.
• Excellent communications skills, including meeting facilitation, public speaking, and presentation skills, and writing skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building with community partners.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the internet.
