THE ROLE YOU’LL BE FILLING:

Using your knowledge of S&OP best practices, ERP demand and inventory data, and data analysis tools you will ensure optimal productivity of raw material and finished goods inventories across the supply chain. As identified, you will develop, execute, and report plans for responding to changing inventory needs. Working with partners across the organization you will develop and implement process improvements, develop and monitor KPI’s, and conduct root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies. This role will be the cornerstone of Airtech’s efforts to ensure we have the right products, in the right place, at the right cost to support our customer first sales approach.

IN MORE DETAIL:

Work cross-functionally with many groups including Operations, IT, Finance, Research & Development and Marketing to help manage and support supply chain activities.
Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, cost effectiveness and regulatory compliance in all inventory and distribution activities.
Lead monthly Inventory Reconciliation process to ensure appropriate inventory control and perform RCCA investigations of complex inventory discrepancies.
Stay abreast of industry trends and suggest process improvements that will have a positive impact on the productivity of Airtech operations.
Ensure material plans and safety stock in the Distribution Centers support and align with the customer fulfillment strategies.
Analyzes complex business problems and provide analytical and business process support that will be instrumental in the formation of distribution strategy, cost savings, and continuous improvement efforts.
Track, analyze, and report KPI’s to senior management.
As the subject matter expert, develop SOP’s, process maps, and provide coaching/leadership in inventory best practices across the organization.
Boot strap inventory plans for new products and new sites.
Work with the global inventory team as a regional representative.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze problems, propose sound solutions and/or make recommendations and take action.
Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel (power user) and Word.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently, following through on assignments with minimal direction and supervision.
An appreciation for micro level details on their larger organizational impacts and an ability to clearly communicate them
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
4+ years of wide-ranging experience in Planning and Supply Chain processes and systems including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management and S&OP
IT WILL BE HELPFUL IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Microsoft BI, and PowerPoint
APICS CPIM certification a plus
Advanced statistical modeling knowledge and experience
Management or supervisory experience
