Are you an energetic, creative individual with a heart for children and seeing them grow in Christ? Consider joining our team as Director of Children’s Ministries!
This is a part-time position averaging 15-17 hours per week. However, an interested and qualified individual may be eligible to combine this role with that of our Director of Youth Ministries.
Responsibilities include:
-Envisioning and building opportunities for children to grow in their faith in various ways.
-Plan, create, implement, and assess Christian/United Methodist education and programming for children, including in Sunday school, children’s lessons in worship, and confirmation.
-Develop and coordinate children’s activities and volunteers, including for special programs like VBS, Blessing of the Backpacks, Fall Social, Easter Egg Hunt, etc.
-Organize and schedule children’s acolyte program for Sunday mornings.
-Plan, organize, and implement annual Safe Sanctuary training.
