Field Supervisor – U.S. Census Bureau (Robertson County Area)
The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring a Field Supervisor to lead and support a team of Field Representatives working throughout Robertson County and the surrounding area. This is a flexible, temporary federal position, ideal for individuals with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support Field Representatives conducting in-person interviews in the community

Evaluate and mentor team performance using established metrics

Assist with training new and current field staff

Conduct interviews when needed

Ensure data is collected accurately and in a timely manner

Use knowledge of survey operations and response trends to solve field-related issues
Position Details:

Schedule: Mixed Tour (hours vary; may include part-time, full-time, evenings, and weekends up to 40 hours/week)

Term: Temporary federal appointment

Location: Must live within the assigned geographic area (Robertson County)

Travel: Regular travel within the local area required
Requirements:

U.S. Citizen and at least 18 years old

Must reside in and travel throughout the assigned area

Must have reliable transportation and phone access

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods

Registered for Selective Service (if applicable)

Meet suitability standards for federal employment
Qualifications:
Must have at least one year of specialized experience, including:

Interviewing respondents in person or by phone to gather data

Meeting performance or productivity goals

Using procedural guidance or training to solve field-related problems
