Nashville Wire Products, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products for the material handling division, is growing and accepting resumes for Skilled Maintenance/Automation Technicians for our Springfield, Tennessee location.

This position typically works approximately 50+ hours per week with occasional additional overtime as required to meet customer demands.
2nd shift base schedule 3:30 pm until 3:15 am Monday through Friday with additional OT as required to meet customer demands. Please note there is little to no opportunity to move to 1st shift when hired for 2nd shift positions.

Ø Base start rate $28.00/hour.
Ø Maintenance pay progression: $28.00 start, $29.00 at 90 days, $30.00 at 1 year.
Ø Maintenance Prog pay progression: $31.00 start, $32.00 at 90 days, $32.50 at 1 year.
This position’s duties include preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment with a goal of reducing downtime and recurring problems. Equipment includes PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical presses, and various welding systems.
Troubleshoots and repairs PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic and mechanical stamping presses, and various resistance welding systems with a goal of minimizing downtime and recurring problems. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maintain maximum production and quality. Positions have a strong emphasis on electrical, however, mechanical experience is required.
Successful applicants must pass math test that includes adding and subtracting tape measure fractions, tape measure reading test, mechanical aptitude evaluation, drug screen, and 7-year background check for misdemeanors and felonies
