We are currently seeking an Office Assistant/Dispatcher to join our office team. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, coordinating and dispatching plumbers, and supporting daily office operations. Job description:
The duties and responsibilities of the position include:
  • Dispatch plumbing service calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Create, maintain, and update customer files accurately
  • Handle all incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Schedule jobs based on customer needs and employee availability
  • Email invoices to customers and respond to related inquiries
  • Follow up on accounts and apply customer payments
  • Enter invoices into commercial customer portals for submission
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Mechanic Shop billing and other misc duties
  • Maintain office supply inventory and assist with light office housekeeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively dispatch plumbing service calls and schedule jobs based on customer and employee availability
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally handle all incoming phone calls
  • Excellent written communication skills, with strong grammar and proper punctuation required for emails, invoices, and customer records
  • Ability to accurately create, update, and maintain customer files
  • Experience emailing invoices, applying payments, and following up on customer accounts
  • Ability to enter invoices into commercial customer portals accurately and timely
  • Strong attention to detail for invoicing, data entry, and recordkeeping
  • Ability to manage incoming and outgoing mail efficiently
  • Capable of keeping office supplies stocked and assisting with light office housekeeping
  • Dependable, organized, and able to perform additional duties as assigned

Pay – $20.00 hour
Hours – 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
