• Responsible for all activities and functions of the thermoforming department
• Coordinate production activities through planning with other departmental managers to help ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Work with the Director to implement KAIs to move the business towards using leading indicators; assist with cultural change by leveraging the Mission, Vision and Values of Bath Fitter
• Work with Plant Director and HR to ensure proper management of employee relations, conflict management, balancing of tasks, workforce planning, management of vacations and schedules
• Responsible for alignment with St Eustache Thermoforming department to ensure exchange of practices and knowledge to improve productivity and eliminate redundancy in initiatives where we have common goals
• Promote the Bath Fitter Management System including but not limited to the Problem-Solving Process, Excellence Audits, Staff Meeting, Physical Environment, and Visual Management
• Develop, maintain, and present budgets to management including staffing utilization, realistic technological needs, facility and equipment requirements or improvements
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives
• Incorporate Lean principles to maintain shop floor organization and plant cleanliness
• Ensure the department operations promote the safety of employees and product
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
• Provide departmental training to support department activities and functions
• Monitor and maintain staffing levels to meet customer demands and manufacturing requirements at optimal efficiency • Monitor, track, and document all rejects, produced goods, raw materials, and labor rates
• Conduct daily meetings with all thermoforming staff
• Plan and execute departmental projects and meet projected deadlines
• Plan and aid in the design of new production equipment and processes
• Develop and maintain an effective organization through the initial interview, training, motivation, and performance review of all thermoforming employees
• Administer and maintain skill base pay documents and program
• Develop and maintain programs for sound employee relations
• Provide guidance and direction for employees to assist in their professional development
• Develop strong relationships with all plant employees

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or 2-year associates preferred; must have a High School Diploma, a related field, or equivalent or demonstrated ability to learn all required duties and responsibilities,
• Must have at least five (5+) years manufacturing experience and experience in supervising multiple departments
• Must be able to lift 10-25 lbs
• Experience with developing/documenting procedures and standard work instructions
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and other such CI tools and methods
• Experience in project and budget management
• Language Skills – Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Ability to coordinate and meet deadlines
• Ability to read, reconcile and understand data and prepare reports
• Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Must take an analytical approach to job tasks, communicating effectively verbally and in writing, seeks continuous improvement, with an innovative and collaborative mind-set
• Mathematical Skills – Strong ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure
• Valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
