Duties:
– Safely operate a roll off truck
– Drive and maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and navigate through various road conditions
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning
– Load and unload materials using a front loader truck or other equipment as required
– Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transportation
– Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
Skills:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record CLASS A OR B CDL
– Experience as a delivery driver, preferably with roll off truck, or tractor-trailer experience
– Ability to operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmission
– Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
– Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles
– Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
– Strong communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers in a professional manner
